The 2020 Leukemia Cup was delayed this year because of the Pandemic and was held on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, September 5, 2020. Four Alerions showed up to race; Caroline, Skimmer, Hero Squad and Escape.
We sailed the racing area off Lake Ogleton along with the Harbor 20 Fleet. The wind was variable from the northeast 5-10 kts. The AYC Race Committee set up their usual twice around windward/ leeward course with the weather mark out in the powerboat channel, which wasn't a lot of fun with the Labor Day weekend boat traffic and the light air.
They managed to get off 2 races before calling it a day in a dying breeze with Caroline and Hero Squad each recording a first place. Caroline won the tiebreaker to win the Regatta, since they were first in the last race.
